Hi all

I have been getting into making CE Ferulic with SKB. But I have over purchased on the SKB, if I just use a tea spoon for every formulation I basically have a lifetime supply of the stuff.

I have kept it in the fridge but it is an organic product so it must go off at some point, and there's no use by date on my bottle (bulk actives which are great but not a full on operation). Any ideas?

I have heard it's also great for your hair. If so how do you use it: as a conditioner which you wash straight out (seems like a waste) or as a leave-in product?

For your hair, I would use it as a leave-in so it has the chance to do some good.

As for it's expiration date...that depends on when it was manufactured. If I were you, I would keep it in the fridge in a dark container and just toss it when there is a change in color, texture or smell.

Yes I was thinking a leave in makes more sense.

Logical to see if it smells off, and even dabbing a bit on the tongue too as it's natural product, just to get an idea of freshness. I think I should be able to tell but I'll have to make sure to get a test out the next batch when it's freshly opened.
