Has anyone tried both? If so, which one did you like better? Can you use them at the same time- not on the same day but maybe do the microfoliant everyday and the Epidermx once a week? Or is that too harsh on the skin? Please share your preferences in regards to these two products! |

Hi ebbyboob, Ive only tried the Dermalogica and the sample I had was enough to make me buy the full size, and in fact it arrived today. Ive used it tonight and it is absolutely gorgeous. My skin is extremely soft afterwards, and its not grainy or harsh on the skin. I would recommend it 100% |

I have tried both. By far, I prefer the Dermalogica. I didn't see the results I expected from Epidermx and all that stuff that is supposed to "ball up" doesn't seem to be dead skin at all - it just seems to be the product itself. The Dermalogica is very gentle and does make your skin very soft. It also has some brightening agents in it as an added bonus (I don't think Epidermx does). That's my 2cents! |

I've used both also, and prefer Dermalogica Microfoliant over Epidermx. Both made my skin feel nice, but I could see brighter skin after the Microfoliant.

I've used only Dermalogica Microfoliant, it makes my skin feel SOOO soft and brighten my skin, it also helps clear out the clog pores.
Definately go for Microfoliant!! you won't regret |

Thanks, everyone, for sharing! I'm hoping this stuff works as well as you all say b/c I'd like to even out my skin tone and get rid of all the icky dryness. |

I have tried both as well. Microfoliant caused my dermatitis to flare-up. So definitely don't get this if you are dermatitis prone. It also left my face parched. I recently gave the bottle to my sister and she also experience some dryness.
Epidermx did left my skin smooth but it felt pretty harsh on the skin. |

I wouldn't use both at the same time, it would be too much for the skin I think. Dermabrasion is supposed to be pretty powerful stuff so I wouldn't be mixing this with any other exfoliant.
A few people with dry skin have mentioned that the Microfoliant leaves them dry. I'm not surprised as it's basically a powder that you mix with water, it exfoliates, and it's not in a cream base. If you are dry to begin with then using this daily might be a bit much. I can use this daily on my normal skin though with no problems whatsoever. |
