I have had two BBL treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart. I had the second treatment a week ago. I was told that I would only need 1-2 treatments to resolve some of my skin concerns: slight redness from rosacea, clearly defined beauty marks, and some spread out hyperpigmentation.
The first treatment was very gentle and I didn't really have any redness/swelling. The hyperpigmentation darkened slightly for a few days and then nothing else happened.
The second treatment was more aggressive, leaving me with redness and splotches for 3-4 days. The brown spots darkened, but I'm 7 days removed from the treatment and I still haven't noticed a lot of the "coffee ground" effect and nothing has fallen off. At best, some of the spots are slightly lighter.
Should I even bother to get another treatment? It is possible that I might not respond? |
