Who here has used Copper Peptides, and to what effect?
I have just started using a liquid concentration, which I have added to a parafin-based moisturiser. I'm going easy with it (just using at night) but I'm worried that it could make my wrinkles worse.
Any insight people have would be appreciated!

I've been using the super ghk for almost a year. No issues, finer pores (which may be due to it in correlation with other products) and my left eye hood, which is what I got it for, seems to have improved. Not sure I can chalk it up to cp's or not. I also do a little facial massage and tape it up once in a while at night!
Here's a link to the big thread where you can read everyone's experiences:

Thanks for the link LoriA! Lots of good info there.
I couldn't glean from it if CPs are okay to use undereyes? |

alkery, look up frownies and you'll figure it out.
I use mine under my eyes with no issues, but I've heard others say that they've had trouble. I have no wrinkles to speak of, though. |

I use Super GHK under my eyes and have had no problems, but I did start over two years ago at twice a week . I started very very slow as I had read all about the "uglies" but I have had No problems at all.
I love it and could probably go up th skin signals or even night eyes premier, but I am kind of happy with where I am at the moment so dont really want to change ( too many gadgets on the go)
My mum has just started to use the bio heal (Moderate ) on some very damaged , dermatitis, allergy related skin (long story which I put on another thread) and she has had a fantastic result very very quick, in the healing and rejuvenating her hands, shes now using on other bad areas of her skin.
It has been really a life saver for her ( she was miserable, sore , red , itchy, and getting desperate and using strong steroid creams now she has stopped using them unless absolutely necessary!)

Thanks for the recommendation Sylvia
Just wondering - I'm currently using a v.low dosage twice a day. I'm going on holidays for three weeks on Thursday. Do you think it would be good to use the time away as an opportunity to take a break from the CPs, or should I be consistent? |

copper peptides are a strange beauty animal. They're complicated. They don't work fast at all... so not a quick fix and you don't see results fast. so, depends on your mindset when you use them. It is not like a facial peel or laser treatment where you see a "result." It takes a long time for the skin to change..and then you have to know what strength to use and how often.
I think most women want fast results and dependable product that is easy to use and figure out.
After two years of using them..all i know is i look younger than I am. I love them..it is like they stop the hands of time..and turn them back as well. But for me..my skin doesn't look different.. i just look like i did ten years ago. Other cp users have different stories to tell because they may have acne scarring they're trying to eliminate.
My older sister..just the other day said.. "I don't know what you've been using on your skin ..but your skin looks way younger than your age..) I attribute it to the cp's |

Hi
I wish that I could have had the results with CPs some other people have mentioned but I used Skin Biology for a few months - the GHK Super serum and the Night Eyes and thought it seemed OK. However, I was really shocked when sitting in front of the mirror at the hairdresser's one day in artificial light, that my face, especially the skin under my eyes, seemed to have aged by 20 years and looked terrible. I'd always had really good skin up until the CPs so I stopped them immediately and went running back to Obagi NuDerm and now have great skin again.
Just shows, everyone's different. |

See, this is what I was talking about. CP'st take time ..a lot of time.. and if you start too strong they can make you look older..or give you "the uglies" ..which is what happened to your eyes. that is the complicated part of using cp's. I had haggard looking skin when I over did it when I first started out.. I'd just back of using it..and switch things around. I recognized it when it happened.
But, I understand how that could be too much work and waiting for a lot of people. SB also has so many products.. it gets confusing.
I will say..if you want to "change" your skin where you can really tell a difference in the texture..do obaji nuderm. That gives a visible result in three months. Cp's truly take a year..maybe two to really get the benefit.. and for me..my texture of skin isn't different.. it is just thicker and it doesn't sag.

My experience: BAD! Incorporated them slow and steady and still got the uglies. Wouldn't touch them again with a 10 ft pole. |

I use GHK serum (with dermarolling) and Skin Signals Cream every other night. I think CPs have given me a nice glow. I worked up slowly for about 2 years. I still only use CPs every other day. |

I find it too that GHK gives me a glow and firms my skin after dermarolling. |

I used 2nd generation CPs from 2010-2012. They tightened my eyelids and over time created large, open pores all over my face. I have discontinued and now use matrixyl with similar effects minus the pores. |
