| its being marketed a lot, but unable to find real reviews.....realself has a lot of good reviews but would prefer to read an individual reviewing it, on their blog or forums. Has anyone tried it? |

I am interested in this as well. One of the med- spas in my city offers this.
I am curious about it for the face as well. I have seen it marketed more for the body though??  |

| I haven't tried this myself, but was curious about it so I asked my derm. He is in DC and has a cosmetic practice. I asked if he had any photos of his own patients that had the treatment done. He doesn't put his patients' pics on the website, which I fully understand and appreciate. I did see a picture of a few men who had their necks done. One looked to be in his 60's,the other I could not tell how old he was. The "after " pic was after three treatments. They both had noticeable tightening, and it looked damn good! The recommended treatment protocol for Venus freeze is about 6-8 treatments initially, usually purchased as a package deal. After that, to get the best look, I think it requires a tune-up 1-2 times a year. I have to say that the results in the photos I saw made me put this on the list of things to consider for the future. I know it is also done for the body area, and those areas cost more than the face and neck. It's certainly cheaper than a face lift.LOL. I think anyone considering this should research exactly what happens during the procedure, how it works, and what kind of results you can expect on your own body. I'd insist on seeing pictures of patients the doctor has actually performed the procedure on, like you would with any other cosmetic procedure. |
