Hey everyone. I was trying to purchase some retin-a from an overseas pharmacy (alldaychemist i think) and it kept telling me my bank wasn't allowing the transaction authorization. It's weird because I was using a pre-paid Target Visa to buy it because I don't want to use my bank account or credit card to buy from the website. Anyone else had this issue and how did you fix it? Thanks!!

If its alldaychemist, try contacting them directly and asking for help.
In my experience, their customer service has been excellent. |

nate - that happened to me - same thing. Just had to use a different card but I didn't call - so that might make all the difference. |

Just received my new tube of Retin-A. Paid by echeck. No problems at all. |

I have to call my bank ahead of time to let them know I will be making an overseas purchase. They open the card up for twenty-four hours and then shut it back down again. |

Sunday Peaches, I'd love to hear what you think of it when you get a chance?
I'm yet to jump on the Retin A bandwagon, but I'm sure it wouldn't take much to persuade me |

I used my regular credit card with them many times and never had a problem. While you make your order, I suggest getting multiple varieties of the different kinds of retin a. Shipping is expensive but the product is so cheap it makes sense to stock up and try different kinds. |

Hello Nathan,
I went through this rigmarole about a month ago. I too was looking to place my first order with All Day Chemist, but I was about to give up out of frustration. I was having a REALLY hard time finding a gift card that I could use on overseas transactions - they are few and far between now. I also think that ADC requires you to have a giftcard that has your name on it - meaning you would have to order it online. I considered ordering a Chase Visa Gift Card online, because it was the only one I could find that I thought ADC might take. I even contacted them on Facebook, but all they said was that "I could try" to use the giftcard. Well, that wasn't good enough for me, considering I was planning on putting over $100 on a giftcard that I might not be able to use.
I didn't feel comfortable using my card or an echeck, so what I ended up doing was sending in a Money Order. I am SOglad I did! I feel so much more comfortable with this option. The only issue here is that it takes a little longer than any other payment method. But if you are ordering more cosmetic prescriptions, like Retin-A or Careprost, it's not like life depends on those extra two weeks.
I ordered and sent my money order in on 7/9/13 - so 21 days ago. I sent it through regular mail and made sure to get a tracking number so I could make sure it got to India. A few days ago my order shipped. So this whole process will probably take about a month. I know this is a longer wait, but I wouldn't do it any other way. Now I will just make sure that I place all of my future orders by Money Order about 1.5 months before I need them.
I know that ADC just went through a lot of renovation, which I ordered right in the midst of, but I had no problem accessing my account and they kept me up to date throughout the process. Hope this helps! |

Can you order it without a perscription? Do they ever ask to see one for a cosmetic product? Not looking to buy any right now, but would like to know for future reference. |

I tried ordering from them with a pre-paid and it wouldn't work either. I ended up ordering with my credit card using Pay Pal and didn't have any issues. Price is great, but I had a derm tell me I shouldn't buy it online from other countries because there is no way of knowing if the ingredients are what they say. I ordered from a Mexican pharmacy years ago and had no problem then either. I still wonder if I am getting the real deal though. |

If you're in the U.S., almost ANY doctor can write you a prescription for Retin-A. I just asked my primary care doc randomly if he could do that, and I got 0.1% with four refills. It was only $14.00 at CVS, too. |
