I started the Obagi Nuderm 4 days ago but I'm confused. I've been searching the boards and all over the web and they say not to use moisturizer while doing the Obagi...but does that mean for your under eye area too? Because people were talking about using the Elastiderm eye cream while doing the Obagi, but will that inhibit the results?
I've been using all the nu derm products on my under eye area, but no moisturizer, but now I'm worried that I should be using a moisturizer too.
Confused please help! Thanks!! |

I haven't tried any Obagi before in the past, but I have used Elite Serum (eye serum) with a moisturizer in the past and seemed to get fairly decent results. |

Elastiderm is not a moisturizer according to Obagi so that is why it can be used in Nu Derm. I did not use an eye or face moisturizer while on Nu Derm as you are not supposed to. |

Ah, I didn't realize that (the elastiderm isn't really a moisturizer). Do any of you ladies recommend using it in conjunction with the Nuderm? Or not?
Thanks |

I read that Elastiderm can be used during Nu Derm and also maintenance on a daily basis. The key is to apply two times a day, AM & PM. I never used Elastiderm but just read about it on the ZO Skin Health site and also from an interview with Dr. Obagi. Seemed users got quite good results from Elastiderm. I'm sure some of the EDS members have personal experience with this product. |

Thanks. Is the Nuderm "eye cream" something that you're supposed to use sparingly while doing the Nuderm regimen?
The area just underneath my eyes is becoming very dry (been on Obagi Nuderm for about 6 days) and I am just worried that maybe I'm doing damage to that area. I know that you will get "the uglies" but are you supposed to allow that to happen to the under eye area also?
Thanks |
