I'm wondering why it is preferable to use a natural body brush over a nylon brush for drybrushing. It would be alot easier and faster to drybrush with a Salux. Thank you |

Always brush with a natural brush.Like one with boar bristles. |

I believe the reason is that unnatural brushes often are made of plastic and scratch the surface of the skin leaving it open to infection and attacks from bacteria, whereas natural bristles do not do that but exfoliate top layer without damaging skin surface. Hopefully that makes more sense!

OTOH ... the Salux cloth can be washed out and cleaned thoroughly. A brush harbors dirt, oils and microbes. Personal choice of course. Both get the job done. |

I like the Salux cloth very much.
Bristles and/or something more heavily 'textured' seem to be more effective for me in terms of results. I don't have sensitive skin and I think your skin tends to adapt to the mechanical stimulation and toughen up. I really like the brush that Tonya Zavasta uses for her skin. |
