Hi everyone,
I love this site. I have been reading and reading and reading and Walter White-ing concoctions and really having a great old time.
Does anyone know of a way to make a glycolic peel? I'm wanting to start a regime and I'm not sure how to start.
I've watched lots of Youtube videos and I'm just not convinced which company is the most reputable to buy the peel from.
So any advice would be appreciated.
BTW, I'm using prescription strength Retin A 1 or 2 nights a week, and I've made a lovely Vit C, Ferulic Acid and Vit E serum that I love (because of this forum).
I used to get glycolic peels a long time ago and want to try again.
(I have battle-axe skin=can take a lot of exfoliation. Am 54 years old. Had cystic acne when I was a kid and my skin is doing really well now.)
THANK YOU!!! |

I like the Exuviance AP25% peel.
It used to be sold here and I do not see it.
I just bought it at Eskincarestore.com they are in Vancouver too.
I would have bought it here, but no one has gotten back to me to let me know if it is sold here still.
I paid $80.oo for the peel and there is 12 uses.
you do not need to mix anything and there is one packet you open that is #1 and then wait like the instructions say and use packet #2 to neutralize.
I like it because no mixing and it is made by Neostrata also, that has a great rep.
For me going to a derm to do peels is not that worth it, I went once last year and can not leave a peel on more than 5 minutes and so paying $100 to do a 20-25% peel is not that worth it.
At least at home I can take off the peel as soon or longer depending what I can tolerate.
I've been fairly pleased with my result so far, nothing huge yet, but enough to rebuy and use the same peel again! |
