Ok so I have been looking at some of the Vit C serum recipes here and in-particular Kassy's. I have tweaked one of Kassy's abit and added some other actives. So my question is will this recipe work? Also I am not sure how to go about mixing it up and in what order? Confused

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Very Happy

I'm not a DIYer by any means, but as I understand it, it may not be advisable to include Ascorbic Acid and Niacinamide together in the same formula due to pH issues. I'm sure others with more technical know-how will chime in, but in the meantime, here is a related article that may be of interest: http://www.futurederm.com/2012/10/25/should-niacinamide-and-l-ascorbic-acid-be-used-together/

Thanks so much for this. I think it's easy sometimes to get carried away with all these great ingredients. Also recently learned that Vit C and Glycolic acid should not be used together for very similar reasons.
