Has anyone tried both botox and safetox?
Which one did you prefer and why?
Please share your experiences. |

Hi, yes I have used both.
I have very strong frown muscles which resulted in permanent lines, even when relaxed.
I started using botox about twice a year for some years, then once a year and the effects hae been excellent for me.
Now as a homemaker, I can't justify the price, so have been using safetox for about a year, and for me, it's very good. I can still frown (unlike botox) but when relaxed the etched lines are very faint/disappear. I have also noticed that my eyes have a more wide-awake and younger look.
However, I have to use the device regularly (twice a day initially, then a few times a week for maintenance) or else the effects fade.
Of the two, it's difficult to say. I guess I prefer the ease and effects of botox, but savings money-wise and the 'natural' no chemical aspect of safetox is a big plus for me. |

Thank you Miel. This is something I have been wondering as a long time botox user. I would like to try safetox, especially as you like the effects around the eyes so much. I was very impressed by the pictures posted by another member, as well.
Anybody out there not so pleased with the results from Safetox and wanting to sell their unit? I am in North America. |

Safetox gives a more natural looking lift, too. None of the dreaded botox arched eyebrows that make people look slightly unhinged. |

I am also interested in buying safetox. If anyone would like to sell theirs, please let me know.

I looked at the video. Does anyone know exactly how it works? is it using electrical pulses?
How does it stimulate the muscles?
It looks safer than Botox.
I don't recommend Botox treatment, because there are too many side effects.
By the way, for those who have used Botox, you should use Coola Face roller for after treatment. It's a ice roller that can help cool down the skin after the treatment.

The skin does not heat up after Botox, and it's not advisable to roll the skin right after treatment. That could distribute the Botox into unwanted areas.
There aren't really side effects for Botox, just a small risk of drooping if it is injected in the wrong place. With an experienced licensed practitioner, there is little risk. |

I am one of the unlucky few that is semi-resistant to Botox. I can get 80+ units and it will be gone within 6 weeks.
I started using the Safetox instead, and I will say that it will NEVER have the complete line elimination aspects that Botox does. However, it has done wonders for softening my 11's and forehead lines, plus it lifted my upper eyelids like Botox never did.
I still plan on trying some of the other options like Dysport, but will NEVER give up my Safetox. It completely replaced tedious facial exercises for me, and I love what it does. Sometimes I get lazy and take a long break, but once I start back I kick myself for not using one of the only devices that has really delivered what they promised.
It has been one of the best purchases I have made since joining EDS, period. |

Bethany, does it lift the outer part of the upper eyelids? By doing facial exercises I only managed to lift the inner part a bit.
Outer brow lift would be great, too. |

Chiqui - apologies for the delay in responding...I just saw this post.
I did have results with lifting the outer portion of my eyelids, but had more success if I used the 3 point treatment. |
