I've noticed that the skin at the outer corner of my eyes has a pink-ish tone....
What will correct this? |

Yazzy,
Have you used anything new? Does it feel irritated?
If at all irritated I would keep all cosmetic product away from the area. You could dab the slighest amout of Vit. E (don't get in eye). |

Hi Winnie, I think this has been a gradual change that has taken quite a few months....the skin doesn't seem sore and I haven't tried anything new.
I think you're right about keeping cosmetics away from there though. I've been wearing liquid eye-liner for years...that's likely to irritate the area and so I'll not wear cleopatra-style eye make-up for a few weeks.
The skin around my eyes is slightly dry, but nothing out of the ordinary. Do you think a good eye cream will help? I just received a sample of Orlane's B21 extreme eye-care from Eds this morning...perhaps that will help? |

Yazzy,
You might have hit it right on the head. If your skin is dry in that area it could appear pinkish. Just try keeping it very simple for a few weeks and see what happens. I don't know anything about the eye cream you are using. Another idea is to pat a little Hyloronic Acid before a cream to lock in moisture. HA Acid is never a waste of money (in my opinion).
For times I have had Allergies and my eye area has been dry I have used: Emu Oil or Cammellia around the eye area at NIGHT.
Good luck Yazzy! |
