Hi Everybody

I am a new member and was hoping I could get some advice.

I have oily skin and occasional breakouts - ok more than occasional. Can anybody recommend a skincare regime/products which help. I have used many before including the 3 step clinique range but my skin will always end up oily by midday!

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

I would suggest using products with glycolic acid (AHA) and probably salicylic acid too (BHA) in order to control the breakouts. MD Formulations products (e.g. the cleanser with glycolic acid) have worked well for me in the past when I wanted to rid my skin of bumps and pimples. In fact I think my skin responded very well to most AHA/BHA products I have used (although some have been better than others I guess). Having said that, I think there are a lot of very good natural products that are a lot gentler on the skin and could regulate the oil production and control breakouts as well. Decleor Ylang Ylang oil is one that keeps coming up recently in threads related to yours and people have found it very good at controlling oil production. YonKa Juvenil and also Creme15 are very good products for treating breakouts. I hope that helps in your quest a little - I'm sure you'll get plenty of other suggestions as well.

Thanks for your advice - I was looking at these products you suggested. They do seem to get good reviews. I will let you know how it goes. Smile
