.

check this out: www.bestskinpeels.com what do you think? Think too sketchy? hmm

what at home peel do you use?...to de-clog pores/treat acne/scarring/red marks.

ok, ok, i'll see an aesthetician already (and a dermotologist too). Wink but i'm just curious about good home peels with comparable results.

i've heard of an obagi blue peel. is this good?

Hi there -

I think which peel you use really depends on what you want to accomplish!

I know that the Obagi Blue Peel is considered quite effective for acne plagued skin. But, it is also considered a deep peel and you have to be prepared for some ugly time following it.

Go towww.platinumskincare.com. They offer professional grade peels of all types at an excellent price. By viewing the site, you'll be able to determine which peel is most appropriate for your needs, and they provide very detailed and easy to follow instructions for the peels and for after-peel care.

I've been doing at-home glycolic peels with a 60% solution for close to a year. The results have been absolutely phenomenal and doing it at home has saved me a small fortune.

Here is another site:
http://www.makeupartistschoice.com/

I would begin really, really slowly, with a very light peel. Most of the sites mentioned will recommend a peel for first timers and for your specific skin type. Just don't jump in too quickly. I have heard some horror sotries!

I have melasma and these peels always frighten me since I've had facials with peels that made the dark splotches darker. The top layer of skin would get dry and darker, peel off, only to have darker skin underneath! A dermatologist told me this is something that happens a lot with Asian skin.
