| Hi I am new to this forum and my issue is with keratosis pilaris. I have dark skin so my spots aren't red or pink but darker than my actual skin color. I have no roughness or anything of that sort my issue is really with the dark spots. I live in the Caribbean so sunshine really doesn't help though some persons believe it does it hasn't helped me. Any suggestions??? Thank you in advance.... |

| I have tried amlactin which is meant to smooth skin and it has. My skin is smooth now the issue is the dark spots though. |

I have the same issue, there is so little regarding the type of Keratosis pilaris we speak about, no roughness just extremely dark folicles..
Been on forums where they say they've reduced it by lightening & scrubbing. I don't know what's real anymore because they may not even be talking about the same variation of this condition. Unfortunately I have this on my face so my life is just constantly, looking for something or an explanation at least. |
