Hi, does anyone here succeeded in eliminating the tear throughs and the black shadow around the corners of eyes? How I should do to thicken my skin around the eyes. I tried 0.5 mm DR roller 3 times around the eyes to rebuild collagen but nothing happens. My skin is the same, thin eye contour, tear throughs and black shadow . Moreover I developped some fine wrinkles , they are very small but when I smile they do appear clearly. why this dermaroller did nothing neither for the thin contour nor for the wrinkles. ADVICE ME I'VE BECOME COMPLEX AND VERY UNSELFCONFIDENT. MY EYES WERE THE BEST PART IN MY FACE

I think it's genetic and part of the aging process. I've developed similar in the past few years. I use the Graftobian palette color corrector but you can use any color corrector that is yellow or salmon color for those areas. Then apply a concealer on top, preferably one with a bit of shimmer to reflect light.

@ Soft Skin: Thanks for the advise but I'd rather prefer a permanent solution, I'm tired of fake concealers. I want to thicken my eye contour and rebuild naturally collagen. Im very tired psychologically, I cry everyday may be this could be the cause.

And if there is no permanent solution?

How old are you? What is your ethnic background?

Do the women in your family have the same problem? How about your friends? I've noticed that women from the Middle East and the Mediterranean region have this condition and I think it's perfectly normal for them. It does seem to get worse with age though.

Mine are getting worse with age but didn't start appearing until several years ago and I am middle aged. I look at my aunties and they have the same.

Hi Sahar, you could try this recipe from marveloils - a great place for info about natural oils. Please let me know if it helps.

Dark Circles Massage
While hereditary dark circles are difficult to correct, very pronounced dark circles will fade with the help of particular oils and lymph massage. This massage also relaxes tired eyes.

1 teaspoon Tamanu Oil
3 teaspoons Sweet Almond Oil
2-4 drops Cedarwood Oil

Instructions

Mix the ingredients together in a small, clean bottle.
Apply a few drops of the mixture on your fingertips. Start massaging, from the inner corner of the eye, moving upward towards the temples and around the eye across the bone underneath and up again in a circular motion. Repeat this movement 4-5 times morning and evening.

This massage activates the microcirculation and drains the excess edema responsible for dark circles of fatigue. The lymphatic drainage also has a lifting effect.

I had my tear troughs filled last week. I've had dark circles my whole life and didn't know there was anything I could ever do about it. I also started to get the hollow look as I've gotten older...I'm 39 now. I absolutely love the results. I only got half a syringe of Restylane but will probably get another half at my follow-up visit. I have thin skin and not great elasticity so she went slowly and did a lot of massaging of the Restylane to make sure it was smooth and blended. They look amazing but I can see where another half syringe will help.

I am Irish and have very light skin but really dark circles! In addition, since I ve gotten older my eyes have taken on a more hollowed look. the combination of the two look terrible and I feel like I can't go anywhere or even look at myself without concealer to cover them!
I'm too afraid to have them filled as I ve heard many horror stories esp w/restylane. My friend developed huge lumps, bags and major dark circles after using Restylane under her eyes. My PS said you should ever have tear trough area filled with restylane or Juvederm. Those fillers are only meant for nasiolabial folds and lines around the mouth.
