Yes. I still use mine, the last time about 8 weeks ago. I believe it to be effective. I Use with a numbing cream, and worked up to the longer length, 1.5 (have not used the 2mm) over the year. I space the treatments on the longer length about 3 months apart.
Luckily I have had no problems with it. I trust that microneedling works, and the Dermajet has been a speedy way to get it done!
I am a beauty gadget junkie (hope springs eternal), but I would choose the Dermajet over my Reaura any day of the week! |

I have one too..got a good one..used it for the first time last weekend. i can't imagine using it without numbing cream.. Ive had tx with the dermapen before and they are quite different. Do you get minimal pinpoint bruising with it? i think I went too heavy under my eyes and had some brusing. i do also have a reaura. Any tips for how to use the two together as far as timing between tx? I love the Reaura!! It makes my skin looking sooo smooth. ive only done 2 eight week sessions with it nd ive had it for over a year. What diffferences can you see in results between the two, if you don't mind me asking. |

Hi hittin40, yes, I did get a bit of bruising around the eye. But I have thin skin and bruise very easily. I use the shorter length, 0.5, in the tear trough area and on top of my cheekbone, and ratchet it up on the rest of my face. In all, I have used it maybe 6 times altogether, only daring to use the 1.5 the last 2 times. I am only planning to use it a few times a year. I honestly believe I have seen some benefit - my skin seems a bit thicker, and the non- dynamic wrinkles softer. I used it with an HA serum, but next time plan to use my Lifeline to really push it in. There is some blood with the longer length so I swab with alcohol then antibiotic cream and lay low for a couple of days until the redness and any pinprick wounds heal.
I understand that the shorter lengths can be used more frequently and are good for product penetration, but I would rather do it fewer times on the 1.5 - even with the numbing cream it hurts!
I have only used it during my down time from the Reaura: I am still on the fence regarding my Reaura, I have done 4 eight week rounds. It's possible that a couple of sun spots have faded, but the texture of my skin (oily t zone, plenty of blocked and open pores) has not improved. On the other hand, it certainly hasn't got worse.
I really attribute the thickening of my skin, and improvement in fine lines to my Dermajet. I had already done two rounds with the reaura, with no significant improvement, before using the Deramjet.
I won't stop using my Reaura yet, as I live in hope! |
