I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with improving crowsfeet by doing Tanaka facial massage, or even accupressure, or both?
I'm 50 and my crowsfeet are out of control. So I started doing Tanaka and accupressure a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not, but it seems like my crowsfeet have gotten worse and now I'm panicking. I don't know whether to stop doing it, or maybe it's supposed to get worse before it gets better?? |

| when you say "worse", what do you mean by that exactly? Have the lines increased in size and depth? or have they sort of changed shape? |

| I'd say they've multiplied specifically underneath my eye and seem more pronounced then before. |

Is your face well hydrated when you do the massage, before startig te Fe massage i was doing tanaka massage, and i was doing it without applying anything before, i could see some tiny wrinkles forming under my eyes that i did not have before, specially if i put make up on. I started applying a vitamin silicone gel very dense ( the one that come with cosmelan and i did not finish when i did the treatment),once i started doing tanaka after applying this i did not get any wrinkles anymore and the ones i got dissapeared.
I think with some of the movements of tanaka the face should be hydrated or could get temporary wrinkles |

| thank you for the reply Pablita. oh my goodness YES my face was well hydrated. Not only do I use the oil cleansing method when washing my face, I moisturize with coconut oil and vitamin E, and then on top of it I use more coconut oil to perform my facial massage. I think all that scrunching up from the cheeks up into the eye area may be too rough for some people's eye area. I have stopped doing Tanaka now and am doing other types of facial massage plus accupressure that doesn't scrunch up the eye area. Hopefully I'll see an improvement. |

| Yes i think to the movement from cheek to eye can cause wrinkles in some people specially if the skin is very rhin as it was my case. As well i went to a kobido self massage workshop, the teacher said we should not do the eye movement with the head straight, that we should put are fface to one side as if we were side lying down and then do that part of the massage in that position, sorry if i am not making much sense but english is not my first language, he said to putone hand on one side of your face, the put the head to that side as if we were lying down, and in that position do the cheek eye massage. |
