I have aged stretch marks on my upper thigh. They aren't too noticeable because I'm so pale. Everything that I've read about stretch marks says that white ones are harder to treat, if not impossible.

I've heard of this micro crystal scrub that you use in the shower to exfoliate them. It makes sense because that would get rid of the top layer of skin and increase cell turnover but is it even worth my time?

Has anyone had success with treating WHITE stretch marks? Are there any treatments besides lotions?

Thanks to anyone who finds the time to reply!

I also have these as far as I'm aware no topical treatment will help at all so don't waste your money on things like that....if its really bothering you go to a skin clinic which offers laser/IPL as this may help ask them and ask for examples of success before spending any money.

I had those years ago. Then, I tried to apply some essential oils, like argan oil, to massage. It seemed faded out somehow

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I figured nothing topical would make much of a difference. Even so, I still am applying cocoa butter and tamanu oil. They aren't that big of a deal but I just wanted to see what options are out there!

I've had *a little* luck with DIY glycolic acid peels. But mine weren't really that bad to begin with, so I don't know how much it truly helped.

I have them on my chest area so everytime I wear a top that shows a bit of cleavage I do feel a bit self aware but am going to try derma roller that may help although they are years old and I guess the best results are achieved if done earlier.
