Hello,

I've been doing 10% salicylic acid peels about one week apart.

The first 3 times, I didn't use alcohol wipes and the time, I week, I did and it's drying as expected.

I've got a bunch of questions, since I'm really not sure if I'm doing this right. Hope someone out there can help me.

1) First, I read about peeling but with high percentage but I'm peeling with a 10%, is that normal?

2) My skin care is minimal and consist of washing my face with a gentle cleanser and in the daytime, I use 2% SA liquid and 1 drop of grapeseed oil mixed with 2 drops of tea tree oil. At night, I use just ACV (2 parts water/one part vinegar) and followed by the same oil, sometimes, I use argan oil mixed with grapeseed for my under eyes.

So, I've read how peeling skin shouldn't be peeled or "exfoliated" in any way and to give it a week rest from these products, so when should I be using 2% SA liquid and would using the toner, be considered as exfoliating since it contains acids and if I were to rub the skin, it would be assisting the peeling, and that's not good since it could cause scars and stuff.

3) If, I don't "assist" the peeling, wouldn't it be considered as more dead skin just stuck dangling onto the skin and cause an acne or pimple.

4) It's almost a week and there are still skin near my nose and a few spots, how am I to repeat the weekly peel? Previously, while using the toner, I was rubbing off the dead skin but since I used alcohol wipes, it seems to have more peeling, since I guess it had a better chance of working?

5) During a peel, some areas, like the first time, near the side near my chin, it started to hurt a lot and turned white and I put up with it and since it was only a minute for the first time, I removed it and was left with a dark which later came off since I was using SA liquid daily and toner.

So my question is, am I supposed to frost or no? I read how a neutralizer should be applied, so the last time, I started frosting near my upper lip, I neutralized it, however, a brown spot still appeared.

Thanks in advance for any advice!!
