I have never done well when I use eyebrow pencil. Everytime I just look funny when I see myself in the mirror. I don't know why I just am so lousy wiping the eyebrow pencil. Then, I notice most of astheticians use more powder than pencil. Would anyone share how you put on your eyebrow pencil or powder.

I prefer powder. I use an angled brow brush. Mine is from a mineral makeup company and most offer samples to help you find the correct shade. A powder looks much more natural on me.

Some low cost options that have good ratings on makeupalley.com:

WetNWild
NYX
ELF

The Body Shop (mid range)

Powder for me too. I've tried gels and pencils.

I really like this one:

I brush it on using an angled brush. If I recall correctly, I think Wayne Goss (makeup artist) has a YouTube that shows how to put on eyebrow powder.

ETA: I couldn't find the powder video, but did find this one using pencil. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wX8ZjQI-Mm4

Thank you for the video link. I'll take my time viewing that and the other relative links. They seem interesting.
