I personally use simple toner its alcohol/perfume free so gentle on the skin...maybe a natural alternative is apple cider vinegar which has loads of uses. |

You can make your own homemade toner to remove dirt, tighten pores and prepare your skin to be moisturized. You can simply brew a cup of green tea, let it cool down and apply it on your skin using cotton ball. Green tea is full of powerful anti-oxidants and nutrients necessary for maintaining healthy skin. It is also considered as anti-aging toner since it contains polyphenols which can destroy free radicals that cause fine lines and wrinkles. |

Way down the list. Much better than 14% alcohol in the Dickinson. |

Using an alcohol free toner is a must for oily skin. Look for a toner with a formula that contains glycolic acid to cut through the grease and use it only on your T-zone. And if you are still using moisturizer, you better stop using it. |

I always thought a toner was a wasted step. I use it on my face when I'm not wearing foundation and I feel sweaty or grimy. Easier than washing my face.
Otherwise I use witch hazel on my underarms since I stopped wearing deodorant or antiperspirant. That skin is very sensitive and I've never had irritation. It's so mild. |
