I fear I've completely ruined my skin at 26. I quit smoking and for some reason my skin started breaking out worse than when I was a teenager.Over the course of a few months I used many products: benzoyl peroxide 10%,salycic acid, retinol and stupidly went to the tanning bed a few times. This is a list of the terrible things that have happened to my face:
-enlarged pores/ orange peel texture on entire face. You couldn't even see my pores before all this.
-pores than form fine lines
-nasolabial lines are now present
-under eye wrinkles/ puffiness
- dark circles under eyes and small milia
- whiteheads blackheads and still getting the big red pimples that prompted me to start using all of these products in the first place
I wasn't even aware you could ruin your face so bad so quick.I of course threw all that shit out. That was a month and a half ago.Do you think my face will ever repair itself? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

If your skin condition has changed so fast, probably you have allergic reactions to something or you are experiencing other skin conditions.
Continue maintaining a healthy habit, don't try to apply anything in your face that you are not sure of and you could seek the help of a dermatologist if it is really that bad. |

Make sure to exfoliate your skin regularly. Natural scrubs such as almond scrubs, sugar granules and oatmeal help exfoliate the skin. Maintain a balanced diet which include healthy food choices. Foods that are rich in Vitamin C and E can help maintain ideal skin health. Limit your alcohol intake and avoid smoking. Additionally, exercise regularly as this can increase blood circulation, giving your skin a natural glow. |
