I'm just curious what people think about this. There was a time when I spent $$$ on department store makeup, but now no longer do. Occasionally, I'll splurge with a trip to Ulta, but I'm always kicking myself afterwards. The more $$$ I spend, the less difference I notice. I'm not saying all drugstore makeup is great, but most of it, it seems, is the same quality. Am I missing something? I'd rather spend money on skincare devices, which actually intrigue me more - I find the world of ultrasound, LEDs and dermarollers much more intriguing for some weird reason. |

Let me put it this way. I wouldnot believe the quality of drugstore makeup 10 or 20 years ago indeed. But, now I deeply believe there's not much differece in the quality of the makeup from drugstore and department store. It only differs in your budget and your approach. You can find something with satisfactory quality at drugstore without question. |

I personally prefer drugstore brands. Many of the department store brands are much too highly fragranced for me.
The money I save using more things from the drugstore is usually spent on devices or DIY ingredients. |

I use both. High and low end brands both have good products. I just use whatever works best for me. |

As an Asian, most of us have the eagerness to get some decent mascara, that has thickening, lengthening effect and smudge-free. Anyone could suggest some? Thank you. |
