The goggles that were with my device are no good let the light through even with my eyes closed too its so bright! Can anyone recommend what to use to stop it coming through im worried about it damaging my eyes. Was thinking of sticking foil on the outside and maybe some dark thick tape on the inside if i can. |

I also have had zero luck with goggles. I have a Lumiere Spa and Excel, and have tried all-black goggles (with foam pad) and the led eye sticker covers. I'm assuming that the light is penetrating the skin around the eye socket. There is one stainless steel goggle (without foam padding) that I have been wanting to try, but it's about $100, and I'm tired of experimenting. If it's in your budget, I'd try that. You're not looking directly at the light - it's just very bright indirect lighting, so I'd guess you're not getting much more eye strain than laying on a beach with your eyes closed.
Please let me know what you decide to do and if you find something that works. |
