Hello,
I am a young woman (some of my friends say I am not but I'm still young in my head). I am a cosmetic and skincare addict and fond of asian ones and most of the products I use are high end korean and japanese ones. Just a few weeks ago I tried another asian product: the IASO Ghassoul black cleansing oil from IASO a korean high-end brand I never heard about earlier. It's an cleansing containing no mineral oil or other derivative petrochemical, and composed mostly (but not only) of natural ingredients. Formulated with cleansing natural ingredients (ghassoul and charcoal powder) and soothing (camomile, witch hazel, jasmine, lotus flower, lily), it removes makeup and blemishes, tighten pores, and leave a skin perfectly clean, clear, soft and silky. The cleansing oil itself has a flowery smell which almost makes me remind of a perfume, but attenuated version: typically the type of scent found in luxury goods. It is black, the texture is smooth(I would say almost liquid) and dry: that is, it really has nothing of a traditional cleansing oil! This is quite surprising (if not a little confusing the first time), but at the end I think it's ideal for combination to oily skin: it combines the efficiency and smoothness of oil removal, a texture fluid. However, make sure to shake the bottle well before using the oil to mix the clay particles and coal therein in suspension. It eliminates the toughest makeup and doesn't leave greasy film on the skin. I have not seen any effect on tightening my pores and I'm not sure it helps keep my skin virgin from imperfections (I rather count on the rest of my face care routine for that!) ... but since it perfectly cleans my skin and removes my makeup, easier and faster than other makeup removers, I am fully satisfied. Overall I am very satisfied with this cleansing oil out of the ordinary and ideal for combination and oily skin and especially for its fluid texture, dry and non-greasy. To get the feeling of cleansing with water, with the efficiency of an oil ... pretty crazy, right? Black gold without black gold, I say that it's worth a try ...
