Hi everyone
I am using obagi nuderm for normal/oily skin since past 9 days.
I have some acne scars black sun spots. I have been prescribed by dermotologist. Today i went to meet her and she was shocked while she looked at my skin. I have no side affects but only some peeling around my chin. Now she add clear at night too. U am very scared now. According to my doctor peeling should be started. Plz some body help me to find me answer. Is it normal if there is no peeling or no improvement after day 9??? |

Peeling depends on the condition of your skin to begin with (do you have a lot of damage) and if you are oily, there is generally less peeling as your natural oils act as a moisturizer. The strength of your tretinoin has a big impact as well as how much you use. Are you using about an inch long strip of 0.1% nightly? Also, are you using Exfoderm Forte daily?
Are you using any moisturizer?
If your derm just put you on Clear now, it sounds like you are not on the whole system as Clear is an integral component of the Nu Derm regime. Maybe your derm is easing you into the process?
In any event, Nu Derm takes months and months for the full results so just keep forging on and you'll get results. Obagi Nu Derm is one of the best things I've ever done for my skin. |

Many thanx for your reply.
Yes my skin us oily in summer. And is not too much sun damaged. My main concern are acne scar removal and black sun spots and opened pore. My skin does not look healthy.
I am using the whole system
Morning routine:
Clearing. Toning, clear, exfoderm forte, sun screen
Night routine:
Clearing toning, started clear ar night yesterday as per my consultant said me
And then retina A 0.1% with blender
I am not using any moisturizer |

| I was started on clear 2 x day from the beginning. Were you using tretinoin prior to starting the nu derm? I started at .05, because it is my first time using and am working my way up to .1%. I was probably peeling by day 6. I'm now heading into week 9. But, I agree, from what I've read everyone's skin is different and so is the amount of peeling. |
