Please tell me what color the liquid should be when FA is fully dissolved? Milky white or clear?

Thank you.

Thank you all for the replies. I have to say I have had no trouble dissolving the FA in witch hazel contrary to what I have read about it only being able to be dissolved in vodka or something of that nature. I thought maybe the milky white solution I was getting was not completely dissolved because it just seemed to easy. I tried vodka at first but it really irritated my skin even though I used about 1/4 tsp.

It usually ends up translucent or semi-transparent for me. It's funny because it never fully dissolves in my toner, but my old C serum there was no graininess whatsoever. How strange.
