My skin type: Normal/slightly oily on nose & cheeks, dry/sensitive on chin & forehead.

Product Use: Once/twice a week (for 4 months now). I mix one teaspoon of this mask w/ few drops of rose water, aloe vera, or milk & apply all over face except eye area.

Purpose: Primarily to exfoliate (I didn't want to use glycolic or other acids).

Results: It gives a nice glow to my face. Skin looks smoother & firmer. Some fine lines are less visible.

Product Sensitivity: Although most vit.c products cause irritation on my chin, this one does not. In fact, the mask feels cool & heavenly Very Happy

Recommendation: I would recommend this rejuvenating mask for ALL skin types. You can adjust the 'moisturizing effect' by mixing it with either rose water (for oily skin) or milk (for dry skin). Overall, a great product. I love it Very Happy

One more thing...

although the powder turns brown in a few weeks time, the effectiveness remains the same. I guess this might answer some of our queries on the effectiveness of vit. c once it oxidizes.

*wow* sweet angel! Sounds *great* I would have thought that it would have stung a bit...I'm really surprised - and very curious about it. What everyday products are you using - are your everyday products Cellex C?Thanks,

No, that is the only Cellex C product I'm using. I recently ordered a whole bunch of SkinC, so I'm currently a SkinC product junkee Very Happy

The Cellex C does not sting at all. When you mix it with water, it feels ok, but when u mix it with milk or rose water, it is extremely cool & refreshing. Since I'm a "mask fan" I'm constantly looking for a good mask & this is a "must keep" for me.

My LATEST regimen:

1. Twice a day face wash w/ Cetaphil
2. Twice a day: SkinC Phyto + Gel (on some areas only)
3. Twice a day moisturizer: SkinC Emollience, Eucerin
4. Under eye cream: Neutrogena Radiance
5. Once a day Sunscreen: La Roche Posay SPF 60 or Nutrogena SPF 45.
6. Once/twice a week face mask: Cellex C
7. Once in 2 weeks: SkinC Serum 20 & Intense Line Defense (these 2 products are quite strong so I use them sparingly & only on normal areas)

I don't think I really need the Intense line defense 'coz I don't have serious wrinkles. I have numerous fine lines though I'm less than 30 yrs old Sad I find the vit c serum 20 to be helpful in smoothing out the fine lines, but little harsh (it stings a bit) for me.

Hope that helps.[/i]

Sweetangel - I'm using Skinceuticals too...I've switched from the Vivier 20 to the Skinceuticals 20..some days I get a bit of a sting, but for the most part I'm just fine with it!..I'd *love* to try one of their creams!

Isn't it funny... u switched from Vivier to SkinC & here I'm wanting to switch from SkinC to Vivier. If u have dry/sensitive skin, I would suggest SkinC skin emollience cream. A little drop goes a long way. Doesn't have SPF tho, so u need sunscreen on top of that.

Did u notice any difference between SkinC 20 & Vivier 20? Since I have dry skin on my chin & forehead, I don't apply SkinC serum on these areas. Maybe Vivier will help out huh?

OMG - Sweetangel, if you are having trouble with dryness on your chin and forehead and therefore have avoided C in these areas, you will *love* the Vivier vitamin C (I think...). It feels *way* different from the Skinceuticals serum....when I used the Vivier, I almost didn't feel like I needed moisturizer afterwards...it doesn't feel "icky" or anything...it just has a very different feel from skinceuticals....I'd bet my bottom dollar that you will be able to use the Vivier on your chin and forehead without any irritation. And just as an aside, I didn't switch from Vivier to Skinceuticals because I didn't like the Vivier...I was just very curious about the Skinceuticals...I've received Vivier samples from EDS - maybe you could ask for some on your next order!

Both are excellant products. Which you decide to you is totally dependant on your skin type. Oilier skin types tend to prefer SC and dryer skins like vivier.
