application, I notice some hyper pigmentation on that i did not have before. The hyper pigmentation is light but it's there. I called my dermatologist, and her assistant told me that tretinion was irritating my skins and to use tretinoin every three days for the next two weeks to see if the hyper pigmentation gets better or worse. Then go back to the office to see the dermatologist.
I have two concerns:
1) Getting hyper pigmentation from tretinion sounds unusual. Anyone heard or had this type of experience?
2)I'm thinking that maybe I should stop using tretinion, but doctor office told me to continue so maybe the assistance is right?
At night, I used tretinion as told -a pea size. Then in the morning applied sunscreen spf 50 skinceuticals and wore a hat when outdoors.
I'm using tretinion to fight some lines in my forehead and overall improvement of my skin.
Any advice for me? Thank you |

I read the info inside the box. It states that some people experience hyperpigmentation, and it should resolve with the skin getting used to the tretinion or by stopping to use it.
So, since it is very light hyperpigmentation, I'm still thinking ......
I wonder if anyone had this type of experience too? |
