I have overtrained and puffy frown area and while applying frownies yesterday had this revelation: what if I just wore a tight (not too tight!) headband over the lower forehead to sort of relax the whole area including corrugators, not just the glabella "triangle?

I work from home so the looks of it is not an issue. I already do massages, frownies and Safetox but I feel my muscles are so strong that they just pop back into place shortly after anything I do.

I wear it today and can feel the lower part of the forehead opening. I like the feeling.

What do you think? Crazy idea?

Hi!

I think it is a great idea. I also used kinesiology tape to tape the muscle in place for a little while to help retrain the muscle (and brain). It's also a mindfulness thing. I am retraining myself to have a serene forehead. I also am working on the fascia and I use Sanford Bennett's wrinkle rubout.

HGG do you do wrinkle rubout on bare skin or wth some oil? Any effects?

If anyone wants to try headband thing, make sure it's very soft and smooth on the forehead side (silk not cotton) and that it doesn't slip down on your head, pulling the brows down. I would be a bit afraid to sleep in it because of that, but during the day it seems to do some decent job on relaxing the muscles.

Hi,

The wrinkle rubout is done on dry skin. The friction and heat generated during the rubout are a part of the action to change the structure of the underlying tissue.
