I'm in desperate need of a skincare routine. I've been doing some research online for the past month and there's so much conflicting information(and disinformation) out there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My skin issues are large, conjested pores; general tone and texture problems;some hyperpigmentation, mostly on my body but some on my face; fine lines.

I saw an aesthetician about 6 weeks ago for dermaplaning and a light peel....usually do them myself, but it's been a bad year and I've neglected my skin so I let a professional do it. She recommended a routine using Obagi C-clarifying serum (the one with 4% hydroquinone) and tretinoin .05%, and Obagi Elastiderm eye cream.

I know I need to use a vitamin A and Vitamin C product. I can buy the tretinoin online at Alldaychemist, but the Obagi C serum is $125. Is there a cheaper alternative that's just as effective?

I'd also like to incorporate microneedling into my routine, but I don't know what length to use or which serum is best to use afterwards. .02mm? .05mm? Environ ACE oil? HA serum?

Please help! I'm so confused!

Have you seen a dermatologist about any of your skin's issues? Even one visit may steer you in the right direction. They have new tools and technology for pigmentation issues and also there are some new microneedling lasers available that I've heard good things about.

Wash your face.
Clean skin is happy skin! Use a toner.
Apply serum. Moisturize.
In the morning: Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen.
At night: Remove your makeup.
At night: Swipe on a peel pad. At night: Pat on an eye cream.

Actually, I would try one thing at a time.
Since your Aesthetician already uses Environ:

ENVIRON has a great line of vitamin based products. So go with their Vit C during the day (+ moisturizer+ sunscreen) and Retinol at night. You don not need tretinoin which will generate other problems.

Get a really beautiful eye cream, either By Environ or Youth Alchemie Eye cream by DERM INSTITUTE.

Do a course of the ENVIRON infusion facial (2-6). Make sure they have this machine:

Please stick to Environ for 6 months. Then consider skin needling. It's important to build up the skin's density and hydration before you consider doing controlled damage of which needling is one form.
