I have been experimenting with many products for wrinkle reduction. I have found that a low glycemic diet, facial exercises and creams with fat soluble vitamin C derivatives and estriol work best. I recently tested several peptide creams on a several small wrinkles over 4 months although these creams are good moisturizers I saw little reduction in wrinkle depth(I am a researcher). The OHT cream was significantly more expensive than the others and did not show better results. In addition, in my opinion the company that I purchased the cream from 1-800-patches practices unethical behavior. You can not return unopened packages even though they say they have a money back guarantee and do not notify of continued shipment. I have not found this to be the case with other companies I have purchased creams from and have returned to two other companies with no problems. Therefore.
BEWARE there are many people out there just to take your money.

Also 2 tips to get the most from the creams you use. Your skin will absorb better if you pretreat it with linoleic acid (grapeseed oil which is 70% linoleic acid is available at most groceries for $4 a large bottle). Also cover badly wrinkled areas with a tape or other wrap after you cream them. This will also facilitate penitration of the active ingredients.

Hi Sharky~

I have been doing much research on wrinkle reduction myself(unprofessionally.....I am a fitness instructor). I continue to hear good things about topical application of Estriol. I found a site over the internet that sold it without a prescription and my curiosity got the better of me and I purchased some. SInce you mentioned it in your post, I was wondering if you would reccommend using it in conjunction with progesterone cream. I am 36, so I am only using the estriol cream for skin thickening purposes, not because I medically need it. I have read that it is safe(?????) but honestly wonder if this is someting I should be messing around with on my own. Any thoughts would be appreciated.....other than things I have read, you are the first "live" person I have encountered who reccomends it.

Thank You,
Lisa

I have started using an estriol based cream. There are peer reviewed articles showing wrinkle depth improvement. I have not used it long enough actually to measure wrinkle depth but I would say that skin texture improvement
is better than other creams I've tried.

You should use a progesterone cream for at least 5 days a month when using estrogen-based creams. Estriol is a relatively "weak' estrogen. It should be safe. Other studies I've read monitored hormone levels in women using Estriol creams and did not see any impact on hormone profiles in the blood.

Sounds good....I went back and ordered a progesterone cream as well. I'm surprised I haven't heard more about it(estrogen cream) from other's on this forum, as it seems to be legitimate. Thanks again for your input. I'll post again if I notice results~
