I've always been a Dermalogica devotee but I am now really suffering from congestion & breakouts, so moved over to Skinceuticals. I'd appreciate anyone else's views on both these ranges? Thanks. |

How are you finding the Skinceuticals so far? Which specific products are you using?
I'm also considering this line for my sensitive, very acne-prone skin. |

you know what.. I used to use all off dermalogica myself. and they are not bad products, but I really didn't see results with them i mean they hydrate, and protect and all that, but when you look in the mirror do you see a real change? i didn't so now i'm into skinceuticals, I still love total eye care from dermalogica, but the rest is skinceuticals, and ddf I love the daily moisture, and the phyto gel, the cleanser simply clean is amazing. Smells like oranges, hehe,, if you look at the 2 lines together, i mean they care kinda the same,, no fragrance, or color, or bad alcohol, I just think that skiceuticals is a little more intense, and no MINT in there products haha |

You are so right. Dermalogica are good - but they are not very exciting to use - no really nice smells or textures. Always feels a bit "functional". I will always use the Daily Microfoliant and the Multivitamin Power Firm. I've switched to Skinceuticals Simply Clean, Daily Moisture, Clay Mask and the Overnight Renewal for Oily Skin (this is FANTASTIC !). Not used any of the serums yet though. |

I mainly use Dermalogica and have tried Skinceuticals in the past. I also agree that Dermalogica seems to be more of a maintenance regime for already healthy skin while Skinceuticals can really improve your skin. Unfortunately the Vit C 15% completely broke me out (I am breakout prone anyway), but I like both their Foaming and Cream Cleansers. |

I'm a skinceuticals fan. I made the switch to their line for oily/congested skin and also switched to jane iredale makeup and my skin is much calmer now!
dermalogica products give me rashes...it's just not for me |

I use the foaming cleanser, serum 10, daily moisture, b5 gel, eye renewal gel and clarifying clay mask & daily defense sunblock when needed. I also use intensive line defense and retinol 0.5% on occassion, at night...I tend to use them each once or twice per week.
PM me if you have any specific questions about the products...I'm back and rechecking/updating threads. |

I think they are both great lines, but not necessarily comprable.
SC vitamin C is a great product for congested, oily, acnaic skin. Dermalogica's microfoliant is also great for unclogging those pores. |

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Hyrdating B5 Gel and the SPF20. Really hope these products work for me and keep me well hydrated.
Wish me luck! |
