Does anyone have an allergy to silicones? If so, how do they manifest themselves?
I had a lovely day at the spa today (birthday gift from my hubby!) and although the facialist thought I had nice skin, she noticed little raised flesh colored bumps in weird places - around my nose, right under lips on either side of chin, and on forehead....we tried to figure out what could be causing it.
I have used Oil of Olay Regenerist, b/c it really makes a nice base for moisturizer, and she thought maybe the silicones in it might be the culprit. I had tried Smashbox Foundation Primer, but don't know if I should continue as there's 'cones in that as well.
I'm going to remove it from my "active" list (lol!!!!) and just stick with my antioxident, b5, then moisture schtick and see what happens. I guess I'll have to narrow it down to see who the culprit is. BTW, just rec'd my order of ISClinical products and will start using them and compare to Skinceuticals and Aminogenesis.
Anyone have this problem?

When I used one of the Origins products I broke out in tiny little red bumps. The only thing that I can think of is that it was full of silicones. |

That seals it. I'm going to stop using the product, and report back and see if there's been a difference.
Thanks all.
