Hi
Fed up with reading the rubbish that skin care companies say about the content of the stuff we apply daily to our skin. I've just read that Ketsugo (which is made by Australian Body Care and is a gel/lotion to help oily skin and acne) contains Isolutrol which was originally a "marine based organism"! Rubbish! The Isolutrol was from sharks liver and gall bladder! "Marine based organism" makes it sound like it's plant matter NOT bits of shark insides!! |

Yup, Here it is:
"Isolutrol is the active principle isolated from aqueous tissue extracts of deep sea shark liver and gall-bladder."
I wonder how many other animal parts we are using in skin care and cosmetic products? Companies should be honest about what they use and the language they use.
Thanks sarahb for the info. joani |
