I just had to post because I didn't want you to think we were ignoring you. Sorry I haven't used this product but hopefully someone else has and will soon chime in with some great advice |

Hi Red head, I have combo skin and have been using elastin nuit for approx 3-4 week now. By the way, i have my oily areas around around my nose and chin, which are of course prone to breakouts - my cheeks and forehead being pretty dehydrated. Should also mention that i am 40, so that you can get a better idea of my skin type, needs and problems and see if they bare any relation to yours. I have been using this at night, also with a few drops of optimiser fluid mixed in, to address firming and moisturizing issues. I gently massage the products into my skin and find that they are absorbed pretty quickly - after 5 minutes or so, no residue or greasy feeling. Have to say i use very sparingly around nose and chin areas ! I like the smell and the feel. I have had a few breakouts, but have been told to be patient and give the products at least 3 months. I also use the Optimiser cream during the day.
Re the breakouts - have read on this forum, i think, to expect some 'purging effects' from Yonka products in the early days of use.
In the morning, my skin does look plumped and firmed
But I am impatient of the breakouts (few whiteheads) and was wondering wether to alternate Yonka nights with for example MD glycolic and vit A nights - since moving over to relatively 'kinder/gentler' yonka routine, have missed the exfoliation provided by aha's - but my skin is probably overall alot happier (if a little spottier at the moment!)
Hope this helps and doesn't just confuse the issue further - s'pose it depends on your own skin concerns.
Oh, worth bearing in mind that my breakouts may be due to my increasing love affair with rich dark chocolate!! - The cream definitely doesn't feel too heavy for a combination skin |
