rosehip oils, or crocodile oil or argan oil.
i personally have recommendations for those. i only tried crocodile oil on my hair though, i feel it works.
for rosehip and argan, i haven't tried it, but a lot of good feedback from friends who used them |

| Oils are great for maintaining and keeping hair strong and supple but they won't do anything for hair growth or increasing the rate of growth. For that you may want to use things containing chemicals like rogaine alongside a nutritional supplement. These will help work from the inside out. |

| I have to respectfully disagree that oils can’t affect hair growth: my 82 year old grandma has had excellent regrowth of her hair (and much of the hair growing back had color!) with emu oil she applied topically and regularly. |

Almost 40! with sensitive/responsive skin, using facial exercises very lightly. Derminator or prof micropen just a few times a year. AQ eye serum (great for lash growth too) on occasion. Otherwise natural skin care products. |

Sure, feel free to disagree all you want.
however, I'm talking more from a scientific viewpoint than one persons personal experience. There is nothing to suggest that oils can or will make hair grow faster I'm afraid (I wish there was!).

| Dare I ask for those applying emu oil, are you putting throughout the scalp? Does it wash out pretty effectively? I found coconut oil to be a nightmare to remove from scalp and hair, no matter how many times I shampooed. |

Have A Healthy And Balanced Diet.
Give Your Scalp A Massage.
Trim Your Hair Regularly.
Don't Wash Too Often.
Don't Brush Too Often.
Lower Your Stress Levels.
Switch Your Pillows.
Use Supplementation.
Doing all these can definitely help for faster growth of hair. |

What does this actually mean? What is "Too Often"?
Some folks actually say you can't brush too often and that brushing stimulates the scalp - so I'm curious as to what you mean? I know there are talks about not using plastic brushes because they can scratch scalp but they say that natural fibres are better and stimulate growth.

| Also inversion yoga postures are also beneficial (and definitely help with stress reduction too) and the extra circulation to the head no doubt has an effect on the hair and scalp too. However not everyone is strong enough for this (understandably) but you can even lie on a slant board with your feet and lower body raised and achieve similar effects too! |

I've heard that applying peppermint oil with jojoba oil as the carrier oil to your hair has incredible results in terms of hair growth.
Plus, it's natural!

Sorry but how is it natural? It isn't natural at all - its applying something external to the body that the body cant make or manufacture and thats not natural per se.
