I found GP's old post on French pharmacy favorites and wanted to get Avibon (again). I used it a few years ago when it was all the rage, but was sad to find out it's no longer available.

The new alternative is A313 pommade and seems to have a completely different composition. Has anyone tried it? And especially, have you tried both Avibon and A313? How do they compare?

A313 is weaker—technically, even weaker than retinol. But the weird thing is, I actually find it stronger! A313 is also milder than its predecessor. Avibon boasted five times the amount of vitamin A, 1,000,000 IU, in a 30 gram tube.

the A313 treatment is too oily, the texture is thick and heavy, because of petroleum jelly,
the A313 is better tolerated by sensitive and irritated skin.

Yes, I use it every second night. Transformed my skin.

But the first few times I used it, I was itchy like crazy.
