| Christiania not certain about lymphatic drainage reducing swelling. Perhaps go to your doctor first and than go from there. |

| To deliver cold to the affected area, you can use ice packs, cold therapy systems, ice baths, or cryotherapy chambers. Apply cold for 20-30 minutes at a time several times a day to help keep swelling down, especially in the first few days after an injury. |
