Vitamin C serum in the AM, followed by sunscreen every day, and Retin-A/AHA serums alternating nights. This is what works best for me. |

Never heard of Vitamin C serum? How often do you use it daily, biweekly, ect? How do you apply it? What is it's purpose? Does it work on African American Skin? |

Vit C is an anti-oxidant that you use daily. It helps increase collagen production and evens and brightens your skin tone. It works on all skin! |

Faith--
Sounds interesting I think I'll have to check into it being that I need an overall even skin tone. Also, is there a particular brand (not too expensive)? |

The most economical one is Cellular Skin Rx fromwww.cellularskinrx.com . www.pureskinformulations.com also offers another one which is reasonable priced! Others can be bought off EDS, like Skinceuticals and Vivier. I notice you are in Japan...you can buy one here at Matsumotokiyoshi called Obagi. It is 8400 yen.

Since I have added IS Clinical Active Serum (or Firming Complex) to my AlphaDerma and C&C I have noticed wonderful results as far as an even, refined skin tone. In my case I think the strong exfoliants have helped with this. My skin doesn't like exfoliant grain too well. Is Clinical ingredients: ultra-purified water, butylene glycol, sd alcohol 40, 8% glycolic acid, 2% lactic acid, 2% salicylic acid, 1% arbutin glycoside, 0.5% kojic acid, menthol, triethanolamine, hispagel, phenoxyethanol.
Much of the even tone of my skin is due to dramatic shrinkage of the pores in my T Zone. |

I used vit C serums or Cellex-C every morning on face, neck and hands. Within three weeks my very uneven skin tone improved dramatically. It is the best product I've ever tried for my skin.
I also do glycolic peels in the evening and use CP after the peels. This has helped with fine lines and also some skin brightening. |
