Has anyone used the Cellex C serum, eye gel and face firming cream? The only place I've found detailed info is their site and other store type sites and I'm just not sure if they're trying to sell more products than may be necessary.

I read, that the C serum is not to be used around the eye (????) and that the eye gel is not to be used at night but you're supposed to use the cream instead?? is it really this complicated lol.

Or maybe even you guys have tried it and it's not worth all the $$$$?? but dang that photo EDS has of the 'half face usage' sure is tempting to try it!! I've done a search on the forum and can't seem to find a consensus as to the 'best' vitamin C product.
thanks in advance for any help!! I just found the forum and LOVE IT!!

I definitely think that vitamin C serums are WELL worth their money. I prefer Vivier or Skinceuticals to Cellex-C but I have found the Cellex-C to be effective nonetheless.

The normal serum is not to be used around the eye area because it has a higher concentration. If you don't have sensitive skin you may find that you can use a 10% or 12% serum around the eye area anyway. I also only use vitamin C serums in the morning to get extra protection. You only have to use a vit C serum once a day so that would explain why they said that the serum should be used in the morning and the cream at night. HTH

Hi Sky!

I use the Cellex-C Advanced C Eye Toning Gel (10%) and also the Cellex-C Advanced C Eye Firming Cream (10%) both to be used in the morning (not at night) and on the undereye area (not for the upper eye lid). For my face, I use SkinCeuticals C (15%)+AHA and only use this on my face, not my eyes. Yes, it ends up being a lot of products, but they all work so well.

Be careful about using a C serum that has water in the solution. It will make the vitamin C "turn" (oxidize) quickly. Once it has oxidized, it is not healthy to use on your skin, becoming pro-oxidant rather than the wanted anti-oxidant. My personal fav. is the C+ Firming serum from cellularskinrx. Some here find it too slippery but I love it. Soaks in very quickly and stable, inexpensive. Vivier is also popular here.
