Has anyone tried it already? It's new. It states that the 2 percent hydroquinone and salicylic acid gel can lighten freckles.

It has HYDROQUINONE?!!!!!
If it has hydroquinone then don't try it.
that ingridient has been banned because of the bad effects that it has had on ppl.
unless u wanna burn ur skin then don't try it.
whenever anyone says that a product has got hydroquionone or even kojic acid for that matter then run and don't look back.
those ingridients are banned for a reason.

Mariana, Thanks for the article. What I understand from it is bad for long term use. Frankly, that scares me to put it on my skin at all.

I had bad experience in using hydroquinone few years ago
My skin looked very dull after using it, even after applying sunscreen everyday
Later I stopped using it and switched to retinol and vitamin C and my skin gradually became lighter
I think hydroquinone do cause hyperpigmentation in some people especially people with darker skin

Reviving an old thread!

Has anyone used this for a while now? I looked on sephora.com and they don't seem to list hydroquinone as one of their ingredients.

It's actually called Laser Lightening Serum

hydroquinone is BAD although i did not know about kojic acid as well

i used hydroquione based product like 7-8 years ago and im still trying to get rid of the hyperpigmentation and even out my skin until now. It is just bad bad bad.
The hyperpigmentation gone now but i still dont have the even all round facial skin Rolling Eyes

I don't think the laser lightening serum contains hydroquinone anymore though. When I looked at the ingredient list on Sephora.com it doesn't show this as an ingredient, so I don't think you need to be worried! Smile
