Since skintype is such an individual thing, and what works for one may not work for another - What does everyone think of putting our skin types/age group in the signature line? That way when we recommend a product or read how a product works for someone - we can compare with members of our own skin types. If someone has sensitive skin and a product did not agree with them, we will realize that it may not be a general problem but due to sensitive skin.
Just a thought, I've put it in my signature line just now to see how it looks. |

Hi fairlyfair,
I think this is a really great idea, and hopefully it is now on my signature too, saves having to repeat things when asking questions etc. Useful to know when trying to answer questions too
Really great idea - good thinking |

Rachel, yeah u probably figured the trick is to get only 120 characters in your signature - i had to keep deleting until it narrowed down
for this to really work, many members would have to do it....come on gals...take a few minutes and add it in your profile |

Excellent idea but I have no idea what my skin type is lol. It was at one time oily with lots of breakouts. Obagi has changed that and my skin might be normal now , just not sure

Hey, I was thinking about doing something like this also, except putting it on the left hand column with your name and location, what a great idea, now we can relate to each others skin type! Heres mine.... |

Elmo,
There are 4 main skin types.
Normal: no apparent signs of oily or dry areas
Oily: shine appears on skin, no dry areas at all
Dry: flaking can appear, no oily areas at all
Combination: oily and dry or normal areas
Also, you should consider whether your skin is sensitive or not. Is anything ok on your face, or do you have reactions to some types of products? |

What a great idea FairlyFair!!!
I just did mine and what is real kewl is that you can update it if your skin changes (due to seasonal changes, etc). |
