Hello ladies,

I have a salon on Park Ave in NYC and see all sorts of people here that work and live in Manhattan Embarassed .

With these clients, I see all sorts of people and I have been seeing one client with makeup on for a few months, but previously she never wore makeup as she had sensitive skin Crying or Very sad .

Well, we usually talk about the social scene in NYC, but she brought up her makeup this time around and mentioned she used the makeup from The Organic Makeup Company as it suits her skin type and wears it with no problems Laughing.

The "suprising" thing I learned is that they also have a wonderful anti wrinkle product Wink Surprised Laughing Embarassed , though they don't publicize it. It is actually their facial oil for dry and mature skin. My client told me that she could see a difference in about a week after using it nightly.

The wrinkles don't all dissappear of course, but her skin looks and feels a lot healthier.

She gave some to me to try during her last visit and my face is quite a bit more tender feeling and it does get those fine wrinkles around the eyes Laughing. I have tried their face moisturiser in the mornings after I shave and my skin feels great through the day. I would recommend this to my friend and clients if they need an option.

The good thing is that the product works well, its natural and its costs a lot less than other wrinkle and eye creams.

MetroVegan,

Tell your client about the 20% discount code for her next purchase as it seems a number of us have used it with no problems. You may get a bigger tip after her next visit! Ha!

So can I assume you are a Metrosexual and Vegan?

I assume The Organic Makeup Co appeals the vegan side as there's few good lines.

I assumed the "metro" just meant urban or city-dwelling. Wink

Thanks for the tip! I've been considering this line since a wonderful member brought it up last week!

StyleGuru,

Yes, its kind of obvious isn't it! I do like to take care of myself at spas and such. The abundance of spas in New York City makes me feel like I am at a candy store! Laughing

Thanks for recommending the discount code and I sent an email to Australia last night and just received a reply. What a nice lady Laughing !

Anyway, I see a number of products that will work for me! I am somewhat intrigued by the Dead Sea Mud Mask. A similar mask at one of the spas I go to costs $80 PER TREATMENT Shock . I imagine one jar from The Organic Make-up Company can last more than 3 or 4 treatments. In conjunction with the toner and face oil, I imagine I can get a wonderful facial at home or get one of the ladies to do it for me at my salon.

As a vegan, there are not many lines available to men and women, so The Organic Makeup Company provides an excellent alternative and I like the fact they do everything online except let you smell and touch the products!

I do like the ingredients in the products and like they are upfront about everything.

It really annoys me when some of the makeups and skincare products we use at the salon from top brands don't even list their ingredients on their packages! But clients demand these lines, so there's not much I can do as its an educational process to a change consumer perceptions.

I agree, I get thoroughly annoyed when a product does not list all of its ingredients. I refuse to buy something unless I know everything that was put into it, especially if it's going on my skin!

Yes, isn't that the worst when cosmetic companies don't list their ingredients on the packages?

Makes me feel they have something "bad" Bad Grin to hide!

That's a reason why I do like The Organic Makeup Company as they fully disclose everything so we get added value as a consumer.

Its also a plus that they have so much health / skin care articles for people to read and understand more about their skin. I have not seen any other companies do this to this extent yet.

With the companies that I deal with, they all want to just push product instead of offering a complete and informative package. I think for the cosmetics suppliers I deal with, the only added value they provide are some makeup tips, but that's about it.

For the antiwrinkle side effect, does the oil increase the density of the skin to take out the finer wrinkles?
