Well, I received this w/ my EDS order about 6 weeks ago, and I wanted to use this for awhile before I did my review.
This stuff has been the missing link in my routine! Before I used this stuff, I'd wash my face w/ Dermalogica Anti-Bac wash in the morning, followed by my fave moisturizer, then at night I'd do the same except use my MD Forte Cleanser II & then my moisturizer. My skin never dried out, and my pimples were signifacantly reduced. However, as always, I still had the couple of persistent zits (the horrible underground kind!) on my face.
However, since I've been using this stuff with my rountine, my skin is SOOOOOOOOOOO clear!! If it weren't for the scars/red spots, I wouldn't even need makeup! All I do, is use this as a preventative treatment on my chin at night time (this is the only area I break out in) before I moisturize. The first week I was using it morning AND night, so my skin was a dry flaky mess  But once I switched to using it once a day/ever other day, my skin has no more flakes & no more zits!!
I think what really makes this routine work, is that every day my skin stays exfoliated (w/ the Md forte) which allows the BP to penetrate & do it's job so well! Plus, using an oil-free moisturizer keeps my skin from drying out. This may not work for extremely sensitive skin, but these 2 products are my HG now!! |
