I read that the new Relax-A-Line Plus with Vialox is coming out on May 15. Anybody here going to give it a try? My Relax-A-Line bottle is empty as of today, so I think I will try this new formula. |

You know I'm a sucker for all their stuff. I ordered it yesterday. I love my Relax-A-Line. I'll be curious to see if this works better on the "more stubborn" lines as they put it. |

From what i understand about Vialox, it is supposed to be used as a 2-step kit for spot treatments on problem areas, not on the whole face. I'm wondering if just including it in the Relax-A-Line Serum would have the same Botox-like effect??? They would have to be using super high concentrations. Do they state what the concentration (percentage) of Vialox is in their formula? Check out this PDF from the manufacturer to find out how Vialox is supposed to work:

Hi pbsadhaka,
Do you know if the Relax Plus will be in serum form? You said 2-step kit, what does that include? Thanks! |

Yes, you know what, I went back to the cellularskinrx page & re-read the description (which I don't think was there the first time I looked, unless I just missed it), and it does look like they are selling the pentapharm 2-step kits. $38 doesn't seem like a bad price, but I think it only lasts a week though, so if you use it for a long period of time, it could get expensive. |

I got mine and have been using for about five days now. It says that it will last four weeks so not too bad for the $38. I have to say that you can really "feel" it when you massage it in. And it seems to be quite a bit stronger than Relax-A-Line. My forehead lines between my eyebrows are flatter now. I'm only using on my forehead since the regular Relax-A-Line worked fine for my crow's feet.
It is a two bottle kit. You have to add the solvent to the cake powder and then you use that solution. Looks like a lot of powder compared to the solvent so I'd say the Vialox concentration must be pretty darn high.
Has anyone else used it yet? |

I ordered a bottle (kit) to try. I have been using it for maybe 3 days now. My impressions are mixed. The only immobilization that I notice is most likely from the pullalan (a film-forming plastic). It does seem to "relax" the area where applied a little bit, but again I'm not sure if it is the peptides working or the plastic restricting the elasticity of the skin. Will have to try it more. But I definitely don't notice the immediate immobilization that is associated with curare extract. Perhaps what they mean is that over time you will get the same/similar results.
Anyone else trying it? |

Well, I ran out of my Relax-A-Line, and didn't order their new product. I stuck with Relax-A-Line again. The serum bottle is a bit smaller, but it still goes a long way. |

I have been using this formula for six days and love the results on my forehead. My wrinkles are noticably flatter and less pronounced. I have only used it on my forehead, as I am quite pleased with AlphaDerma CE on my crows feet.
The relax-a-line w/vialox appears to be a strong formula........it does not seem to have the moisturizing benefits that AlphaDerma has. For this reason, I plan to only use it on my stubborn forehead lines.
It really has made a difference in a short amount of time. And I believe that the small vial will last for quite a while.
Any other feedback.....???? |

I've been using it for a week plus now and I have to say it is definitely stronger than the regular Relax-A-Line. I think I will use the Vialox on my "11" lines between my eyebrows and on my forehead lines and continue to use the regular Relax-A-Line on my crow's feet. I do feel the Vialox formula "working" especially if I take the time to massage it in a bit. |

This product is amazing. I have used it for about two weeks on my horizontal forehead lines. They have flattened out significantly. No product has ever worked before on this area! I am thrilled with this product and have already ordered "a spare" bottle. |

Sounds good on the forehead lines! I'm wondering about crow's feet though - anyone try it there? |

So you have to mix up the formula everytime you use it? Why do you think it comes this way instead of having it already mixed? Just curious. |

No, you just mix it up the first time and then use it up. The site says that it is to ensure freshness of the product when the active ingredient is a really high concentration. Here's the link:

Thought I would get this since I'm going to 'squint' (very sunny) country for the summer.
Geez! this company has excellent service. I
got the Vialox in 3 days and no duty charges-it was sent global priority from Texas. All this for $2 shipping charge. My EDS orders take longer. |

So Marina how is it working for you now? It's been about a month? for me I guess and I have to say that this Vialox blows the acetyl hexapeptide away for relaxing. I'm still using the Relaxaline around my crow's feet since it isn't as expensive but the Vialox is going straight on the "11" every AM and PM. That area is flatter than I've ever seen it with a topical. (My Botox experience was not a happy one but it did completely flatten out those lines.) Here's another product I will have to add to the "permanently needed" arsenal. |

Would you believe I haven't tried it yet...I'm leaving for Greece June 29th-I know I'm going to need it there;you squint even with sunglasses on. I'll be gone for 6 weeks and I read that the product only lasts for a month. However, my 13-year-old has been acting up lately & I've been walking around with a permanent frown on my face. Those 11's are looking nasty!! So, I'm starting it tonight and (I since trust your judgement) I ordered a back-up bottle to see me through the summer. I'll let you know!! |

Hi all
I'm SO tempted. My forehead lines are the most stubborn things about me.
But one thing that puts me off is Darren saying it has a filmy effect
Quote: |
The only immobilization that I notice is most likely from the pullalan (a film-forming plastic). |
Did anyone else suffer from this, doesn't sound too attractive?
And any idea what kind of improvement in terms of % you've had, difficult I know.
thanks M |

For me, Molly, definitely no film at all. I think the solvent is mostly distilled water so not sure why Darren got that. Anyhow, it soaks in and is gone on me. Perfect!
As for the % improvement, I have no idea. I just know the between the brows area is much flatter than with the acetyl hexapeptide-based Relaxaline. The site says this:"muscle contractions are reduced 71% within the first minute" and something like "59% two hours later". I guess over a month's time that could give some good results. |

I absolutely love this formula. There is no film whatsoever. The liquid vanishes into my skin on contact. After a month of use (in combination with Alphaderma CE), my forehead lines have flattened substantially (although nothing takes them away completely)!! |

The reason that I was wondering if the immobilization was caused by the film forming pullalan (an edible, liquid plastic), is because I got that information straight off the MSDS from PentaPharm. It's not something that I made up.
I was only saying that I didn't notice at that time (or even now after using it for several weeks) a permanant reduction of muscle contractions. It does give a temporoary feeling of tightness, but after about 1/2 hour, or if you rub your forehead & break the film, then that feeling is gone. I actually think that the original Relax-A-Line gave me better results personally. But that's just my opinion. If others are using it and seeing better results, then I'm jealous!

Thanks for all the replies.
Call me fussy, but now the idea of 'tightening' puts me right off too . The ACDE makes my forehead all tight and the muscles all bunch up and makes me look worse not better. (although it's good for other parts of my face). Tightening, I thought that was the DMAE in Alphaderma. Relaxing is what I need. Help, I hate my forehead M |
