Calling all my sensitive skin peoples!! I need help!!
So I got my order from EDS last week and in it was one of my old faves, Thalgo's Soothing Cream mask for sensitive skin. Now I dunno what those French people are up to ( just joking) but I put the mask on last night and I swear it felt like I just emptied a tube of toothpaste onto my face. I like the "minty" feel, but in moderation!! And then I looked on the box and realised that according to www.zerozits.com/Articles/article6.htm at least 3 of the ingredients toward the top of the list were rated 5 for their ability to clog pores (5 is the highest). I woke up this morning with a break out on my hands. Now I don't no whether I talked my skin into breaking out after reading that article or if it was the mask but I'm not willing to take any chances!!
Soooooooooo, my point is, can anyone recommend another mask that will help to soothe and correct my sensitivity WITHOUT breaking me out???? Please help! I'm incapable of buying things without consulting this forum anymore I don't know whether that's a good thing or not!! Thank you |

Try the Dermalogicia Multi-Vitamin Power Recovery Mask. It’s fantastic for soothing skin – I use it whenever I get a little too vigorous with one of my exfoliants.... |

Dr Hauschka rejuvenating mask - this is recomended for sensitive skins, I actually wear mine as a moisturiser during the day, that's how gentle it is. I found it really good for minimising my pores, giving my skin a healthy glow and softening some blemishes that I had. |

I'm such a wimp when it comes to using new things....I keep hearing good things about Dr. Hauschka, so i keep rummaging through all his ingredients. I'm not sure exactly how sensitive your skin is...rosebud mentioned the rejuvinating mask...which might be okay your you if you'd like to minimize pores and such..but alcohol is the 3rd ingredient on that list. I checked their moisturizing mask..which is actually appealing to me slightly as my skin is utterly dry at the moment. Hopefully everyone else has better advice... |

Dr H rejuvenation mask gave me a bunch of whiteheads and so does Avene Soothing Mask.
For a very simple moisturizing mask, you can warm up some honey and slather on your face. It is suppose to be very soothing (if you are not allergic to honey etc). |

Thanks everyone. I recently got the Dr H Rejuvenating Mask, which I love. I hadn't thought of using it to soothe my skin though (I was more impressed with how little it made the pores on my nose look ) but it's great to have one product that can do so many things!!! Has anyone tried any of the other Dr H masks? If so, what were they like? |
