Hi folks. I want to ask what are the things you must do to keep your face normal. What do you do first when you wake up. And what are the necessary things to put on your face everyday and what must you do not everyday. And how do you put make-up on when you have dark spots and with dark spots i do not mean melasma but that thing that stay when your pimple disseapars, because when my pimple disseapars i get dark spots and not scars. So how do i cover them and how do i make my face look one colour. I have a yellow colour and my make-up always looks red and it feels heave and it becomes ceaky. When i was little i was light but now i am yellow i hate it, i am rather pale than yellow or light brown or something but yellow looks dirthy for me then, especially with the spots and it is diffucult to find the right make-up. I hate it that i live in the Netherlands, because personally i think that for a skintype like mine it is diffucult to find the right products. And on this site i read stuff that i would not have heard about if i would not know this site. Please can someone help me on this, i would be very happy if my skintone would not be yellow. |

Well, as others mentioned in another thread, Vit C serum should help a lot with your skin tone. It will also help to fade some of t he "dark" spots...which I think are scars by the way.
Generally speaking, you should be cleansing your face AM and PM. After cleansing, once a day, you could use a gentle exfoliating product. Dermalogica Microfoliant is popular on this board. Others use DR H CC twice a day. After that, some people tone...it really depends on your skin. This would be followed by your Vit C serum, and then moisturizer and sunscreen. Vit C serum needs to be used only once a day, and sunscreen, only in the AM. You could also add an eyecream to your routine. Once or twice a week, some people like to do masks. If you are intested in anything in particular, I would try to get samples first, and see how it works with your skin.
As for makeup, I use MMU and don't really have spots, so I am not sure. I think that a concealer brush would be necessary though, and then blend well.

Well, faith has covered the skincare routine quite well so let me comment on the post-acne marks and makeup.
First of all, I have found that the combination of using a vitamin C serum and also using the Dermalogica Microfoliant seemed to speed up healing (on my skin) of post-acne marks. So perhaps that's one good thing to try. Vitamin C in general is supposed to speed skin healing, and I would guess more so if you go for the vit C + vit E serum that Skinceuticals has (which also gives you better protection from environmental factors during the day).
As for makeup, I use mineral foundation powder and I find that this is fantastic at evening out skintone and hiding any redness and marks. It also looks very natural and is good for your skin (does not clog pores). My favorite is the Jane Iredale Pressed foundation but there are many other favorites on this forum. |

Hi Faith and Mabsy. Thanks for the information. I have another question, here in the Netherlands we do not have all the products that you guys have, we do have dermalogica and dr. Hauschka, but i do not think that they have vit. c serum ( or do they)? Now i have heard that LRP have vit. c serums and i know that we have this product to in Holland, so my question is: is this a good product, if it is then it would be easy for me to buy it and then i do not have to order a other product. Another question is how do i get samples of make-up that i can easy order. I think for now that this are the questions i want to know, hope my english is not very bad. Greetings from me. |

Hi Mabsy, Faith and others. On this moment i have bought a cleansing lotin from neoderma and its alcohol free and i do not need a other product to clean, this is enough, at least that is what my beautyspecialist said. And then i use a natural whitening cream and serum, it is mean to: reduce pigmentation marks and spots
to: stimulate cellular renewal
to: restore skin radiance
and: protect the skin against environmen- tal stress.
Now my question is does anyone of you heard about the neoderma product. Here in the Netherlands it is often use in beautysalons. It is a natural product mix by cocktails and something calls perfluorcarbon. |

Hi. How do i order the skinceuticals c+e. And why is it so expensive it cost $154. I mean if it is really good, then i do not mind to pay so much. But it is the first time that i am gonna try it, so can i get a sample first or something or not? And also if i would use the c+e is it then necessary to use the skinceuticals hydrating B5 gel, or can i use it with other products? And how do i pay them from out the Netherlands. Because i do not have a visacard or mastercard. But a have a pin that i can only use at banks that haves euro money. So how do i pay in dollars and recieve it to the one where i am gonna buy the stuff from. I really do not know how, because i have never ordered from another country. Greets me |

pipilover,
I have not tried the Skinceuticals C&E serum, but the C is 15%, which may be too high to start with. I would recommend the Vivier 10, or Skinceuticals 10 first. As for paying EDS without a credit card, I have no idea. Maybe they take money orders. You would have to email them... |

Hi faith. I think i have find a solution to pay and the solution is that i will ask my brother to pay with his card, and then i will pay him back. Also i have a question: is the full name of the vivier 10 % Vivier kine-c dual action skin firming serum ( vitamin-c 10 % + kinetin)?
And can i use the vitamin c with other products, and also is there a vit c for the eye area and if yes, which one is good for the eye area. Again lots of questions, but what can i do about it i am new here and do not know much about all these products, because i am from another country. |

Hi. What is the best moisturizer or cream that hydrates all day long ( even in the summer) and evantually gives your face a glow without beiing oily. And for all skintypes, and not clogges your pores and is not heavy/greasy. And also which sunscreen is good for all skintype (combo skin) and really protects well, it would also be great if it would be waterproof to. And i need a good sunscreen for the body to. Ps i want one that is easy to apply and does not give a white paste. ( there are so many things that we have to use to keep our face in good condition, what a work hihi) |

Shipping from EDS takes about 1 week. It is $15 for international, unless your order over $200...the its free
If you start with 15% you may experience some stinging...and it can be uncomfortable. I use 15% now, but I really think that starting with that might irriate your skin.
The Vivier 10 or the 10+Kinetin??? I am not sure. Has anyone tried both??? If it were me, I might be tempted to get the 10+Kinetin. I like more ingredients in my products , but I haven't tried this one before.
For sunscreen, I would recommend La Roche Posay or Avene. Both should be available to you in Europe. This sunscreen thread has a lot of information.

For a moisturizer, I am not sure. I will let someone else answer that. |

To completely fade those post-breakout dark/red marks, I can't recommend enough that you use an aspirin mask regularly. You'll begin to see results after the first application! There's a recipe for an aspirin mask under the "~~~ DIY Skincare Recipes ~~~" sticky thread. |

Yeah, thanks Carekate. I have a other question for you. I have ask this question to at the forum eyelash regrowth. You take msm supplements, but where do you buy/ order them. I mean do you think that you can buy this in every country? And about the products that you use for your eyelashes, is it not bad to use so many? And if it is not bad, in which order do you apply the products, and at which time, or does it not matter at which time? |
