Hi, girls
I have been feazed by the blackheads problem around and near the nose area for quite a long time.
I tried many deep clean product to ease this but nothing worked. Eevery time after I use the deep clean mask or cleaner, I can see some white spot clogged in every lagre pore around and near my nose area which I suppose to be the . I can't help to use acne needle to squeeze it out and there is something white and fatty goes out. However I emediatly find that my pore goes larger so that I stop doing that.

I found out a lot of good reviews about the Dr H's CC, which I thought be my saver when I firstly read the review of it. I bought it and so far use it for four days PM and AM. And I found that things didn't get better. There is still those white tiny things clogged in my pores. Sigh!

I still remebered one post talking about Dr H CC " I feel I can see through my pore" but this is just not happen to me.

By the way I think I using the Dr H CC in a right way which is press and roll instead of scrub.

Did I miss anything else or any body can give me any good suggestion. I am really desparatly need your help.

Flora I really think that carekates Apple Cider Vinegar Toner would help after you have cleansed with the Dr H CC. Or try with hazel as a toner and mix in some Apple Cider Vinegar. This is good for the pores.
A clay mask once a week would also help. What is your skin type? If you have oily skin try a day oil instead of moisturising cream that can sometimes clog the pores. Dr Hauschka Normalising Day Oil, Jojoba oil and I think either Jurlique or Decleur do one as well.

Flora-- perhaps this is a dumb question, but do you take baths or showers? In my experience, if you have skin problems acne, blackheads, etc, baths seem to make skin problems worse. Inflaming current problems and causing new problems to appear.

I personally like Mario Bedescu's Silver Powder for fighting blackheads. It is a white powder that becomes sort of a paste like product that you prepare after following the instructions. I primarily use it on my face where it does a really good job, especially on my nose. I also have used in a very limited way elsewhere on my body.

I should mention that some people don't especially care for the Silver Powder, but it works for me. It can be a bit bothersome to remove, but I like to think that that means it is working and sucking out those pores. I use a couple of cotton rounds and witch hazel to remove as much as possible and then I give my face a good rinse. Any toner or tonic would work to help with removal if I remember correctly. from the instructions. Water too probably, but that is just a guess. After drying off, I sometimes either do a Neutrogena blackhead eliminating mask with salicylic acid for a few minutes and then rinse or else use the Neutrogena acne gel with salicyic acid only on the problem areas. Sometimes I use them both. The mask and then the gel. The gel has more salicyic acid in it than the mask and is much easier to use. I wouldn' say that this process gets everything every time, but I like it. I have purchased far more expensive products with no luck. The gel can also be applied several times a day if you want to. It is easier and quicker.

Dr H. is a big favorite on the threads and I think someone already mentioned it, but it is supposed to be really good for cleaning out pores. I have been using it, but I am sort of straddling the fence on what I think of it. Deleor Ylang Ylang is supposed to be good also but I haven't used that one either. There are several reviews in the Forum if you want to read on Ylang Ylang

I really hope that you find something that really works for you.

Flora - I hope you're willing to give the Dr Hauschka a little more time. It took me two weeks to get results with it and I used it for about 2 minutes each time (twice a day) and concentrated on the nose area.

Marella, Of course I take shower everyday, anybody doesn't do that? What do you try to say, should I do not take shower anymore, how can I do that??? Embarassed

I am in spain now and just don't know how to get this silver powder. Do you have any link selling online?

Mabsy, I think you are right. I should keep going with Dr H CC and will let you know the result in two weeks

Currently I also use Clarins lotus oil which can only be used in PM to reduce the oil in the T-zone.

My Skin type is a combi of dry in the cheek and normal-oily in the T-zone. By the way, Madrid is very dry nowdays

I think what Marella was trying to get at is the difference between taking a bath and taking a shower - apparently showers are better for people with skin conditions...

I hope you get good results with the Dr Hauschka one Flora!

Thank you Mabsy. Rolling Eyes Geez I worded that badly.

Flora: Mabsy is right on what I was attempting to say. Baths tend to make acne etc on the back and chest worse sometimes in a way that showers don't. Sorry about the confusion. Thankfully I am not sitting here in B.O. USA. Wink
